FPG worked with The Signal Group (TSG) to support the US Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) efforts to ensure long-term viability of rural housing properties and maximize the taxpayer investment in them. In supporting the Multifamily Housing Voucher and Revitalization Demonstration Program, a key assignment was to conduct rent comparability studies (RCS), a tool to determine whether government supported rent levels exceeded the private local market rents. FPG brought institutional and programmatic knowledge of housing programs to this assignment, complementing the RCS specialty of The Signal Group.
